General Disipline

  • With regard to the General Disipline in the school we quote from the code for Recognition & Grant-in-aid to Secondary School (Chapter II, Section VIII)
  •  It is compulsory to speak in English in the School premises in order to acquire greater quality in the study of English.
  • Any damage done in the class or on the school premises by the pupil will be restored back.
  •  Parents are advised to attend meetings organized by the school.
  •  Parents should encourage their ward to participate in the curricular and co-curricular activities of the school.
  • Politeness and courtesy of speech and conduct are expected from every pupil. Any type of discourtesy or disrespect to members of the school staff will be considered as a serious breach of discipline.
  • Criticism of a teacher or the school should be scrupulously avoided because it causes the student to lose respect for his/her teacher with the consequent failure to learn from him/her.
  • No money collection for any purpose whatsoever is to be started, and no meeting, demonstration, party or picnic may be held without previous permission.
  • Parents are earnestly requested to insist on the regular attendance and punctuality of their children that they do their home-works, prepare their daily lessons as specified in the Handbook and read books taken from the school Library. Without parental co-operation the work of the school will bear very little fruit.
  •  Pupils are not allowed to ride vehicles other than cycles. If found driving vehicle, pupil Pupil will be rusticated from school. Pupils are not allowed to use mobile phones to school.
  • In case of accidents, the school authorities will administer first aid to the students but cannot be held responsible for such accidents.
  •  Parents, guardians or any other persons are not allowed to see the students or interview their teachers during school hours without permission.
  • All pupils are expected to be present for assembly during which they pray together. At the first warning bell, all the pupils must fall in line immediately. At the second bell, all will recite the prayers and after the assembly, move silently to the classrooms.
  •  Running and shouting inside the school building are not allowed and when classes are over at the end of the session, the pupils in due order and silence should move in single line, along the corridors to the exit.
  • All should take an honest pride in keeping their school clean. Be very careful during the recess not to litter the floor, the compound and the roadside with papers, leaves, seeds, etc.
  • Any damaged done in or about the school premises or to school property must be made good by the parent of the student responsible. If the offender is not discovered, a collective fine may be imposed upon the entire class. This is intended to develop a civic sense. Eatables like chewing gum are strictly forbidden.
  • No books, newspapers, CDs/DVDs, mobile, Sim Card, I-pad, Memory Cards periodicals may be brought into the school premises without the Principal’s sanction. If such Literature is found, it will be immediately confiscated. Students found with obscene books, objects or picture in their possession, or lending or selling them to others, are liable to be expelled from the school.
  •  The school cannot be held responsible for books, writing, materials, clothes and other articles that are lost. Pupils are expected to look after their own belongings. It is not advisable for pupils to have money, jewellery or other valuable articles, fancy watches with them. Students should not wear any ornaments like bangles, rings, etc. It is not allowed
